This session presents findings from the Responsive Early Education for Boys of Color: Strength-Based Approaches to Improve Equity book project, a collaboration between WestEd and CDE-EESD. We highlight research on inequitable outcomes, discuss the role of bias and stereotypes, and introduce a range of responsive, strengths-based practices and family engagement strategies to support our youngest boys of color to thrive.
